Artree https://www.artsmerced.org/artree	ARTREE workshops are designed to encourage participation and problem-solving and challenge the student to develop personal solutions to the arts problem at hand. ARTREE represented the first broad-based effort in the county to enrich the arts experiences of children. The concept of ARTREE was developed out of a commitment to the philosophy that art is a vital component of education. Our mission is to provide academic, social, emotional, programming that supports student needs and interests through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. Expanded learning programs are pupil-centered, results driven, include community partners, and complement, but do not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and school year.
