Workers' Compensation
Employees are entitled to up to sixty (60) days of workers' comp medical leave for the same accident; leave will be determined by the pre-designated medical facility unless the employee has a signed pre-designated physician document on file. If the employee is still on medical leave after exhausting the allocated sixty days, sick leave hours will be used to supplement their paycheck at a one-third rate. After sick leave has been exhausted, the employee will then receive a one-third pay dock until returning to work for up to one hundred (100 days).
When all available leaves have been exhausted and the employee is not medically able to assume the duties of their position, the employee shall be placed on the 39-month re-employment list.
